She most recently won a National Opera Association Division 1 1st place Award for her work as a featured soloist, performer, and Costume Supervisor of Shenandoah University’s 2022 opera production of Hydrogen Jukebox, by Philip Glass & Allen Ginsberg. Other recent credits include being a featured monologist and ensemble member of Shenandoah Conservatory’s Native American Inspirations world premiere in the 2022 Venice Biennale Musica. Derflinger is a mentee of internationally acclaimed Opera Director Ella Marchment. "Singing Lesson" is a live lesson with me, working with you on breathing, technique, repertoire, and expression of our chosen musical selections. Perfect one at a time or long-term! "101" is a Basics info session with lively discussion and application to real-world situations. Wonderful for beginners or those brushing up on their knowledge. "Consult" is a detailed and thorough consultation and discussion analyzing and advising a specific project you are working on. Please bring as many details and questions you may have to this session as you can so we can troubleshoot/problem solve together! Cancellation Policy

-TO BOOK YOUR LESSON, PLEASE EMAIL musicologyacademy@yahoo.com WITH YOUR REQUESTED INSTRUCTOR, DAY/DATE, and TIME -Upon receiving your requested lesson, a confirmation email will be sent to you. -Once your lesson has been confirmed it is considered "Booked" and a payment link will be sent to you for your Booked lesson. -Payment must be made and received within 24 hours of your receipt of payment link for your lesson. -Makeups will only be provided if a 24 hour cancellation notice is provided. -If notice has been provided in less than 24 hours it is at the instructors discretion to provide you with a makeup ONLY if the reason is valid. -No Call/No Shows will not receive makeups. -No refunds, transfers, or credits are offered.
