She loves to perform and has had the opportunity to share the stage with many of her heros over the years. She has been awarded various times for her musicianship by organizations including the Seven Mountains Bluegrass Association, the Steve Mandell Memorial Scholarship, and the Fletcher Bright memorial award. Alani teaches fiddle and mandolin online and has had the chance to work with students of all ages and levels, from all over the country and the world. Her students describe her as patient, knowledgeable, and adaptive in her approach. Topics covered in lessons include (but are not limited to) timing, technique, repertoire, ear training, and music theory

Cancellation Policy

-TO BOOK YOUR LESSON, PLEASE EMAIL musicologyacademy@yahoo.com WITH YOUR REQUESTED INSTRUCTOR, DAY/DATE, and TIME -Upon receiving your requested lesson, a confirmation email will be sent to you. -Once your lesson has been confirmed it is considered "Booked" and a payment link will be sent to you for your Booked lesson. -Payment must be made and received within 24 hours of your receipt of payment link for your lesson. -Makeups will only be provided if a 24 hour cancellation notice is provided. -If notice has been provided in less than 24 hours it is at the instructors discretion to provide you with a makeup ONLY if the reason is valid. -No Call/No Shows will not receive makeups. -No refunds, transfers, or credits are offered.
